How to Submit Your Book(s) for Consignment

Right now we are only accepting the rarer, hard to find volumes if you think you have something we are looking for please complete the form below, we apologize but at this time our system requires that you complete this form for each item you are interested in listing with us if you have a long-ish list of books you can send that list to us by email and we will reply with any that would meet our interests and you can then come back to this form to submit just those. sales@norwestdesigns.com

Consignment Terms:

You must have a confirmed PayPal account to list any book we accept on our site. This protects us and our valued customers (as well as you).

You must agree to our 100% no questions asked refund policy (purchasers are responsible for returning items in exact condition they were sent in).

You can set your own sales + shipping price (we can make suggestions if you need assistance) we require that you use a method of shipping that has delivery confirmation or tracking. Please make sure you are charging enough for shipping it is difficult to re-charge a customer - except in the case of international shipments which you MUST be able to do. We highly suggest you use UPS it is much easier then trying to ship internationally through the US Postal Service.

We charge a 25% Consignment fee on all book sales (25% of the net book price - "Net" means after PayPal has collected their 2.9% +.30 fee) We suggest that you plan a $5 mark up on all books to cover this fee as well as the same fee you will have on your end. Again, we can assist you with pricing if needed.

Payment Process: All sales are completed through our shopping cart and PayPal account. We then send you via PayPal the adjusted purchase price + shipping price. You must send a confirmation email to us and the buyer confirming that you have received the order and follow up within 24-48hrs with a shipping confirmation that the order has shipped.

*Books we cannot accept:

Any writing or personalization on any of the boards or pages
Price clipped Dust Jackets
Smoke or Water Damaged Books or covers
You'll be asked for full condition disclosure if your item is accepted

Book Condition Rating: (you can choose two such as Good/Very Good or Very Good/Near Fine)

Good (used/read condition visible wear small DJ scrapes or tears)
Very Good (used/read condition visible wear with no DJ tears)
Near Fine (used/can't tell if it's been read or not, no remarkable dust jacket marks)
Fine (new/never read condition very slight appearance of shelf wear)
Very Fine/As New (new/protected as new regardless of age)
